Standard symbols representing specific groups of numbers.

Symbol	Name	Description
$\mathbb{N}$	Natural Numbers	Counting numbers $\{1, 2, 3, \ldots\}$
$\mathbb{Z}$	Integers	Whole numbers and negatives $\{\ldots, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, \ldots\}$
$\mathbb{Q}$	Rational Numbers	Numbers that can be written as fractions ( $\frac{p}{q}$ where $p, q \in \mathbb{Z}, q \neq 0$ ).
$\mathbb{R}$	Real Numbers	All rational and irrational numbers (the number line).
$\mathbb{C}$	Complex Numbers	Numbers in the form $a + bi$ where $a, b \in \mathbb{R}$ and $i = \sqrt{-1}$ .
